Terms of Service

1. What Valor is
Valor is a practice tool: you rehearse difficult career conversations by voice against an AI counterpart and receive AI-generated feedback, plus an AI career coach for chat and voice sessions.
The service is provided by Minimal Consulting Limitada (Chilean tax ID 77.822.263-9), Mario Dueñas 678, Linares, Chile, 3580000.
2. What Valor is not
Valor is not therapy, counseling, or medical care, and it is not professional, legal, financial, or HR advice. The counterpart and the coach are AI systems: their responses and scores can be wrong, incomplete, or a poor fit for your specific situation. Decisions you make in real conversations are your own responsibility.
3. Your account
You need an account (via Clerk) to use Valor. Keep your credentials to yourself and give us accurate information. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account.
4. Subscription
- Valor Pro is an auto-renewing subscription with a 7-day free trial, purchased through the App Store or Google Play and managed by them.
- Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Cancel anytime in your store settings; store refund policies apply.
- Deleting your account does not cancel the store subscription. Cancel it in your store settings.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use Valor to harass or harm others, to generate unlawful content, to attempt to extract other people’s data, to probe or disrupt the service, or in any way that violates applicable law. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Content and license
You keep the rights to what you say. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service (process your audio in real time, store transcripts and scores, generate feedback). We may use aggregated, de-identified usage data to improve the product.
7. Availability and changes
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties. We may change or discontinue features. We will announce material changes to these terms; using Valor after a change means you accept it.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts of Santiago, Chile, unless mandatory law applicable to you establishes another jurisdiction that cannot be waived. Nothing in these terms removes the protections you have as a consumer under the laws of the country where you live.
